New IRD Balancing Office opens in Chester UK (03 December, 2003):

Under new ownership, the balancing products and services division of IRD^® Mechanalysis UK Limited is returning to the Chester area under the name IRD UK Limited.

IRD arrived in the UK over 40 years ago and established itself as a large employer and manufacturing base in the Chester area for many years. IRD offered a variety of products and services for the predictive maintenance industry on a worldwide basis.

The new company has retained key employees in the area and it will continue to offer the same products and services for balancing applications that have earned customers’ trust.

General Manager for the new business, Dennis Shreve, has stated: “With the recent addition of this office and staffing in the UK, we now have all the elements in place to offer the same high quality balancing products and services that have earned IRD such respected brand name recognition throughout the world. The new organization will continue to supply a full line of soft-bearing and hard-bearing balancing solutions, including machines, instruments, training, support and applications expertise.”
